Gulab Jamun! The South Asian sweet, originating from Indian subcontinent. It is made from Milk solids. Traditionally it is made from Khoya (Mawa), which is Milk reduced to the consistency of soft dough. Now days we make the Gulab Jamuns from Khoya or powdered Milk. Today here we are sharing the recipe of instant and easy way to make Gulab Jamun using Bread. These Bread Gulab Jamuns are juicy and taste same like our regular Khoya Gulab Jamuns but bit hard compared to our regular Gulab Jamuns.

Ingredients
- 8 no. White Bread Slices
- 4-5 tsp Fresh Cream or Malai or Milk ยผ cup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water Sugar: Water ratio 1 : 1
- ยผ tsp Cardamom Powder Elaichi
- 2-3 drops Lemon Juice
- Oil or Clarified Butter or Ghee for deep fry (as required)
- Dry Fruits for garnishing as required

Instructions
- Take eight nos of White Bread Slices, cut the four sides of Bread and roughly cut into pieces.
- Take the Bread pieces in a mixer grinder and grind into fine powder.
- Similar way do this for all the Bread slices and do not use the sides of Bread.
- Now prepare the Sugar syrup by taking 1 cup of Sugar followed by 1 cup of Water in heating pan.
- Then add ยผ tsp of Cardamom Powder (Elaichi), 2 to 3 drops of Lemon drops and boil for 5 to 7 Min on medium flame.
- Cover the lid and keep allow it to boil.
- Then in a mixing bowl, take the grinded Bread powder, keep adding fresh Malai or Milk one by one tsp and knead just like a dough.
- Make the small round balls and deep fry in hot Oil or Ghee on low flame until golden brown.
- Remove it on Kitchen towel to remove access Oil.
- Immediately add the hot round Gulab Jamuns into the hot Sugar syrup and mix well for 2 Min.
- Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down completely for two hrs.
- Keep in Sugar syrup for two hrs. Therefore, that Gulab Jamuns are soaked in it properly.
- Gulab Jamuns are now ready, garnish with dry Fruits and serve.

– Using White Bread will give the good color.
– Adding few drops of Lemon Juice into the syrup will avoid crystallizing the Sugar.
– Once Gulab Jamun in fried immediately add it to Sugar syrup when it is hot only so that it will soak the syrup and become soft Gulab Jamuns.
– Frying in Clarified Butter (Ghee) will enhance the taste of Gulab Jamuns.
– Adding few drops of Lemon Juice into the syrup will avoid crystallizing the Sugar.
