Put the cleaned tomatoes with water in a pressure cooker and cook for three whistles . Let it cool . Remove the skin and grind well into a fine paste in mixer grinder
In a pan add the tomato paste tamrind extract and water with haldi red chilli powder and coriander powder and crushed garlic and salt and let it boil for 5 minutes
For tempering
In a tadka pan add a little oil and heat the oil to it add hing urad dal after it turns light brown add Rai jeera dried red chilli and curry leaves let them flutter
Add the tempering to the boiling tomato mixture and put off the flame .
