Wash and soak the rice and dal , separately for 6 hours.
Grind to smooth batter and keep overnight to ferment.
Next morning add salt.
In a non-stick pan make round thick uttappas.
Sprinkle all cut vegetables on top.
Cook till golden brown on both sides.
Cut into small rounds.
Serve as sandwiches after applying any chutney and stuff with vegetables like cucumber and carrot.
