or cashews, sliced

Pistachios
sliced, for garnishing
Oil
to deep fry
Instructions
In a bowl add gram flour and make a smooth and pouring consistency batter by adding water.
Now add 1 tsp oil into it and mix well for 2-3 mins. Keep aside for 10-15 mins.
Make ½ thread sugar syrup by adding 1 cup water.
Heat oil in a kadhai. Hold the skimmer over the kadhai with your one hand. Pour some batter onto skimmer to cover all the holes.
The batter will start dropping from the holes into the oil. Fry until they turn light golden in color.
Take out the boondi from the oil and put them into the warm sugar syrup. Let them soak for 4-5 mins.
Drain off the excess syrup.
Add sliced almonds & cashews, green cardamom powder.
When the mixture is still warm make it into small balls.
Garnish with the sliced pistachios.
