For the compote, deseed the cherries and boil them with the sugar in a sauce pan.
Cook until the cherries are mushy and cooked with occasional stirring. Let this get cooled.
Now to make the ice cream, whisk the whipped cream until fluffy.
Mix the condensed milk into the cream and whisk lightly. Then fold in the cherry compote.Pour it into a container, close it air tight and freeze it overnight.
