Bottle gourd is rich in dietary fibre, both soluble and insoluble. It is a cool vegetable, treats urinary tract infection, cures tummy troubles, keeps heart healthy and helps in weight loss.
Peal off the bottle gourd skin then boil. Scoop the centre portion.
Heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil then add chopped garlic then saute. Add chopped vegetables salt and garam masala powder. Cover with lid, cook until soft.
Then fill the cooked veggies inside bottle gourd. Make a batter with gram flour, salt and garam masala. Batter should be thick of consistency just to lock both ends.
Then shallow fry the stuffed bottle gourd turn all sides to be fried. Keep in a serving platter and cover with mustard sauce. Then cut in pieces and serve.
