Peas/ Matar – 1 cup
Paneer/ Cheese – 150 gms
deep fried or saute
Diced Tomatoes – 2 medium size
Diced Onion – 1 medium size
Ginger garlic paste/ chopped – ¼ tsp
Salt
Red chili powder, Turmeric powder – ½ tsp each
Cumin seeds/ Zeera – ¼ tsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Instructions
In soup maker, add tomato, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder and 150 ml of water. Select the smooth program to make tomato puree.
Simultaneously, prepare the tadka for the puree. Heat oil, sauté cumin seeds and onions. Cook till the gravy leaves oil. Add this tadka to the tomato puree, add peas as well and select the compote program till the gravy gets little thick.
Once peas gravy is ready, add cheese cubes while gravy is hot. Serve with roti/chapatti or bread.
