Generally most people don't like karelas. But I am totally in love with them. I can have karelas for all 3 meals daily. Presenting my late mum's recipe here, that's one of my absolute favorite.
Deskin the karelas and soak in salty water for 2 hours.
Squeeze out the water.
Deep fry and cut into pieces.
In A Pan, add 1 tablespoon oil.
Heat on low flame.
Add the onion and cook till soft.
Add The tomatoes and cook till done.
Add all dry masalas and karela pieces.
Put on.a lid and let cook till it all comes together.
Serve with hot rotis.
