Spinach paste gives good texture. So easy to combine with other ingredients. Sometimes get monotonous with same dal. If we mix spinach paste in dal we can have lovely lunch and nice dinner.
Soak the mixed dal before 20 minutes. Pressure cook with three whistle in medium flame. At the time of cooking add bay leaves, turmeric powder and green chilli
Heat ghee in a pan then add cumin seeds whole re chilli, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste. Make a stir fry.
Now add the spinach paste and stir continuously.
Pour the cooked dal.
Mix together spinach and dal.
Now ready to serve.
Notes
We can serve this spinach dal with steam rice and roti.
