Spinach paste gives good texture. So easy to combine with other ingredients. Sometimes get monotonous with same dal. If we mix spinach paste in dal we can have lovely lunch and nice dinner.

Ingredients
- Mixed dal
- Arhar dal 10 grams
- Moong dal 10 grams
- Channa dal 10 grams
- Urdh dal 10 grams
- Masoor dal 10 grams
- Spinach paste 1 cup
- Roughly chopped onion 1 tbsp
- Chopped garlic 1 tsp
- Chopped ginger 1 tsp
- Green chilli 2-3
- Bay leaves 2
- Whole red for tempering 2
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves
- Tamarind paste 1 tbsp
- Salt

Instructions
- Soak the mixed dal before 20 minutes. Pressure cook with three whistle in medium flame. At the time of cooking add bay leaves, turmeric powder and green chilli
- Heat ghee in a pan then add cumin seeds whole re chilli, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste. Make a stir fry.
- Now add the spinach paste and stir continuously.
- Pour the cooked dal.
- Mix together spinach and dal.
- Now ready to serve.
Notes
- We can serve this spinach dal with steam rice and roti.
