Nutty Jaggery Chocolate is a healthy and delectable melt-in-mouth dessert. It is made of Almonds, Walnuts, Cashew nuts along with dark chocolate and jaggery as the sweetener.
How to make Jaggery Syrup:
[a] Combine jaggery and water in a pan.
[b] In medium flame, cook until the jaggery is dissolved.
[c] Once you start seeing bubbles lower the flame and cook until a one string consistency is reached.
[d] Strain this syrup.
Allow the jaggery syrup to cool completely.
Dry Roast almonds, walnuts and cashew nuts separately.
Allow them to cool.
In a small mixer jar, take the roasted nuts, milk powder, cocoa powder, jaggery powder, jaggery syrup and ghee.
Grind on low speed in intervals until you can roll the dough and make balls.
Note: I used the pulse button for ONE minute (20 second interval)
Transfer the dough to a bowl.
Make small round balls and slightly flatten the balls.
Press gently using your thumb in the center and keep the chocolate chips.
Serve as it is or with extra jaggery syrup and chocolate chips.
Notes
Use more almonds than the other nuts to give a good taste.
Don’t grind the mixture for a long time otherwise the dough will turn into liquid and you cannot make balls.
