rice flour

urad dal flour

butter

white sesame seeds

green chilli
Salt
oil for deep frying
Instructions
clean and remove thick stem of the spinach leaves, wash and keep aside
heat water in a wide bowl to
blanch
spinach leaves
bring it to boil and switch off the flame
put washed leaves into the hot water and leave for 2-3 minutes
then strain it and grind with green chilli using mixer grinder with little water
extract the juice from the paste using a strainer and keep aside
in a bowl, add rice flour, urad dal flour, sesame seeds and butter
mix well with your fingers, it should be like bread crumbs
now add spinach juice little by little and knead a medium stiff dough
take the murukku maker with attachment
grease with oil and fill the dough
prepare spiral shaped chaklis by pressing the machine
heat oil in a kadai
when oil becomes hot, reduce the flame to low
add 3-4 chaklis at a time into the oil and fry on low-medium flame till they turm crispy from both sides
remove the chaklis from oil and drain on the absorbent paper
serve or store in an air tight container after it becomes cool
