This is a very healthy version of the dosa, made with green moong dal. A delicious delicacy from Hyderabad, especially served for breakfast with variety of chutneys.

Ingredients

Green moong dal - 1/2 cup
Ginger
chopped - 2 tsp
Green chillies - 2
Asafoetida - 1 tsp
Salt
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Oil
Toppings :
Grated carrots - 3 tbsp
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Chopped onion - 1 tbsp
Instructions
Soak the dal overnight in water, strain and make a paste of everything except the rice flour and oil.
Mix the rice flour to the above ground paste.
Heat a tawa, grease it with little oil. Pour a ladle of the batter, spread like a dosa.
Sprinkle the toppings and drizzle some oil on the sides. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until crispy. Serve hot with chutney.
