Fondant potatoes is a version popular in England and France ,butter is melted in a pan .
The cut potatoes are placed in the butter with one flat side down until the side is thoroughly browned and crisp.
Fondant potatoes simultaneously taste of pure potato and of more than potato ,they get juicy inside.
As my family is very fond of potatoes ,so i tried my hands on this beautiful recipe!
Its really a good combo with A hot cuppa of Tea or Coffee ,as it is perfect rainy snack.
Heat the butter over the medium heat in a sauce pan.
When the butter starts foaming,add the potatoes and fry until they turn deep golden brown on one side for 5 to 6 minutes
Turn over the potatoes and cook for further 5 to 6 minutes or until they turn golden-brown on both sides.
Add garlic,cloves and fresh thyme in the butter.
Sprinkle a dash of salt and oregano flakes.
Flip again gently to avoid breaking of the potatoes.
Place them on an absorbent paper.
Enjoy your fondant potatoes.
