Bottle gourd is such a vegetable high on water. It helps in maintaining a healthy heart and bring down bad cholesterol levels. Most of the people try to avoid green vegetables. Those who avoid bottle gourd they may love this recipe. I used sour aloo bukhara to make the recipe more tasty.
Take bottle gourd peel off the skin then boil and strain the excess water.
Take a mixing bowl add boiled bottle gourd, besan, sattu, ginger paste, crushed black pepper, onion seeds and salt.
Mix all together then make small sized ball. After then fry the balls and keep separate.
Now take a pan, put oil, cumin seeds, ginger paste, onion paste and alu bukhara paste.
Stir continuously then add turmeric powder, cumin powder, chilli powder salt and shahi garam masala.
Add the bottle gourd stock and cook until thick gravy. Now take a serving plate spread the thick gravy then put the balls and again spread gravy and balls.
Garnish with fresh grated coconut, fresh coriander leaves and cucumber slices.
