Heat the milk in a wide pan and let it come to boil.
Drain the rice and add it to the simmering milk. on a low flame let the rice cook in the milk.
When the rice is more than halfway done add chopped nuts and cardamom powder.
When the rice has cooked completely and the rice kheer has thickened to the desired consistency, switch off the flame and add sugar free powder, mix well.
Pour the kheer in individual bowls. garnish with rose petal
