Sesame Sticks - Delicious and Aromatic Snack

Crispy, fresh and crunchy sesame sticks made with mixture of all purpose flour and whole wheat flour. It is easy, simple and quick to prepare and turns out to be a delicious and aromatic snacks.

Ingredients

All Purpose Flour
¼
cup
Wheat Flour
3
tsp
Sesame Seeds
¼
cup
Ghee
melted or use oil
Water
as required
1/2
tsp
Baking Powder
1-2
tsp
Salt
or as per taste
Oil
for frying
Instructions
In a mixing bowl mix together Sesame Seeds, salt, flour and ghee.
Rub the flour well in between the palms to incorporate the ghee well.
Add water little by little and mix the flour to make a smooth dough. Cover and set aside for 5-10 mins.
Now take medium size portions of the dough and roll to balls. Roll the ball to roti shape, not very thick nor thin.
Cut them into strips. Make ready all the remaining balls in the same process.
Heat oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat and drop the strips and fry them in medium heat till golden and crisp.
Drain them in absorbent paper and serve as it is with tea/coffee or with any sauce or dipping of your choice.
Notes
You can substitute salt with sugar if you want a sweet version.
