Pressure cook the dals with two glasses of water adding salt and haldi powder and hing till soft
For tadka
Take a thick bottomed pan add ghee and heat . To it add jeera let it flutter then add saunf powder add the chopped onions and saute it till golden brown
Next to onions add ginger garlic paste and cook for till rawness of ginger garlic goes away . Add red chilli powder coriander garam masala powder saute and add pureed tomatoes curd and cream . Cook till oil separates
To the tadka add the boiled lentils and simmer for 10 minutes on low flame . Open lids and sprinkle kasuri methi powder
