Broken wheat
dalia 1 Cup.
Sugar 3/4 Cup.
Almonds 2 tablespoons.
Cardamom powder 1 teaspoons.
Raisins 16-18 numbers.
cloves
2 nos
Cinnamon 2 inch stick
Ghee 3/4 Cup.
Water 2 1/2 Cup.
Instructions
Soak the raisins in 1/2 cup water and keep aside.
Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan, add the broken wheat and saute on a high flame till it turns pinkish brown.
Add water n cook it on 12 whistles check the dalia cooked well all water evaporated. Add sugar, cashews, raisins, cloves and cinnamon.
The lapsi is ready when the ghee starts oozing out from the sides of the pan.
Serve hot garnished with blanched almonds and sprinkle green cardamom powder.
