This is a North Indian dish which is served with roti, in this recipe I have used cashew nuts an almonds which gives a rich flavors to the dish an the garam masalas aroma. This dish can be made in daily basis or on occasions.
In a bowl add paneer crumble it nicely, add a pinch of salt, pinch of garam masala, coriander leaves, cornflour and mix well.
Make small balls and deep fry them and keep aside.
In a mixer grind cashew nuts, almonds, green chillies, elachi, cloves, dalchini, pineapple flower, ginger garlic paste, milk and grind into a fine paste.
In another pan, add butter, fry kasturi methi, add pinch of turmeric powder and mix well, add the grinded paste in step 2 and mix well.
Add salt to taste. Add milk cream on low flame and mix well. Add the koftas to the gravy and serve.
Notes
In this recipe if you want you can make the gravy by frying onions and tomatoes and then grinding it. You will get an orange paste.
Orange gravy can be used in making butter paneer masala as well.
It is a natural orange color.
For koftas if you want you can use potatoes stuffing or you can use vegetables like carrots, beans, potatoes, paneer and bread.
