Whole Green Toor Amti, is a type of lentil and is also known as Pigeon Peas. It is typical Maharashtrian dish, known as TURICHYA DANYANCHI AMTI! It is very simple and easy recipe. Serve Turichya Danyachi Amti with Chapati and Boondi Raita for a delicious weekday meal.
In a preheated pan take 2 tablespoon of Oil then add ½ tsp of Cumin Seeds, 1 cup of whole green Toor beans followed and 5 to 6 Garlic Cloves and roast them for 5 min.
Then grind the roasted beans mixture into the grinder and keep aside.
Then in same pan take 2 tablespoon of Oil again, to that add ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds, ¼ tsp of Hing, 2 dry Red Chillies, 1/3 tsp of Red Chilli Powder and ¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder and mix well.
