Mor Kuzhambu

Mor kozhambu is a traditional Tamil version of kadhi. Made by grinding coconut and tuvar dal, it tastes best when headed with plain boiled tuvar dal and rice with a teaspoonful of ghee.

Instructions
Beat the buttermilk a little to make it free flowing. Add salt to taste.
Grind the coconut, green chillies, cumin seeds and soaked tuvar dal with a little water to make a fine paste. Add the paste to the buttermilk.
Bring the mixture to a boil and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from stove and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves. Once they splutter, add to the cooked buttermilk. Enjoy hot with rice and ghee.
Notes
Dont overcook the buttermilk.
