Soya chunks in spinach gravy is the recipe full of protein and richness of iron.In this recipe, the soft soya chunks in the spinach gravy give a different taste.This recipe is easy to make and will be ready in no time.
Soak soyachunks in 4 cup water for 30minutes. Add little salt in water first when soya chunks will be double in size.
Drain them in a strainer and squeeze extra water from them. keep aside.
Heat oil in deep kadhai, crackle cumin seeds, when seeds stop crackling add garlic n saute till it turn into light brown.
Add green chilies and saute for 30seconds. Add onion and cook it on medium flame till onion get soft.
Add spinach n mix it really well. Cook it for 2minutes on high flame.
When spinach get soft n juicy. Add soaked soyachunks n mix it well. Add salt n mix it. Cover the lid and cook till sabzi get dry. In between saute it twice.
SoyaChunks spinach ready to serve. Serve this hot with chapati and rice.
Notes
U can also add spices after step2.If u have no time to soak soya chunks. Boil 4 cups of water in a big pan.When it starts boiling, add soya chunks in it. Simmer for two minutes. Add a little salt in it.Within 2-3 minutes soya chunks will be double in size. Drain them in a strainer and wash in cold water. Squeeze extra water from them. keep aside.
