In pressure cooker put the moong dal,potato pieces with 2 cup water and wait for 2 cities.
In a pan heat up oil and then add bay leaf,dry red chilli.
now add the chopped tomato and saute for 1 min.
Add cumin,coriander,ginger paste and cook for 2 mins.
Now add moong dal,potato pieces with a little water in it.Cook nicely for 5 mins.Add turmeric powder and green chillis.Add salt.
After that add roasted Oo mugi (barley) and cook for 5 mins in a low flame.Check the water consistency.Add butter and stir well.Add garam masala from top.
Serve hot,the delicious,healthy Oo mugi & moong dal khichdi.
