Instructions
Wash the brown Rice, dal and Ukda rice separately. Soak both the rice together and dal separately for 5 hours.
Grind Using as little water as possible the rice, bit coarsely. Add the oats too and grind well. Remove in a big bowl and keep aside.
Grind The Dal a bit finely. Add To the bowl. Add water to adjust the batter consistency. Keep undisturbed and covered overnight. Next morning add water and whisk well.
Grease the idli moulds and put in the batter. Steam for 12-15 minutes till done. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes before demolding. Serve with hot spicy sambhar and peanuts/ coconut chutney.
