A vegetable apperizer which is delicious and has a crunchy crust and softness inside. Gobi lollipop goes best with yogurt dip and green chutney. It's a perfect party appetizer or can be made on weekends too.
Cut small cauliflower florests.
Add the florets to boiling water and cook untill half done.
Drain the half cooked cauliflower florets, pat dry and set aside.
In a bowl take flour, cornflour, rice flour, baking soda, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, red food colour and lemon juice. Mix everything well.
Add water and make a smooth lump free batter. The batter should not be too thick or too thin.
Heat oil in a pan, when the oil is hot enough take the cauliflower floret dip it completely in the batter and drop it into hot oil.
Repeat the same process with the rest of the cauliflower.
Fry them untill crispy and golden brown.
Keep on paper napkins to remove the excess oil.
Wrap the stem of the cauliflower florests with foil paper and serve with yogurt dip.
