Chicken
with bones - 500 gm
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Onions
chopped - 2
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder
equal ratios of cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, powdered together - 1 tsp
Salt
as required
Bay leaf - 1
Refined oil
as required
Curd - 1 cup
Coriander leaves

Instructions
Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, curd, salt. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
Now heat a heavy bottomed wok with required amount of oil.
Once the oil is heated, add the bay leaf followed by the chopped onion.
Saute the onions till they turn golden brown in color. Then add the marinated chicken along with marinade in the bowl.
Give this a stir and let it cook on a low flame with the lid on and intermittent stirring.
Once the chicken is done, add little water for the gravy and bring upto boil.
Sprinkle ample amount of chopped coriander leaves. Check for the seasoning and serve with some steamed rice or roti.
