Basic Walnut Cake Eggless

A simple basic eggless walnut cake with few ingredients from the kitchen. This cake is as soft and moist as the egg one. A perfect cake to enjoy your evening cup of tea. It tastes delicious with plain vanilla custard.

All purpose flour 1 cup
Sweetened condensed milk 400 grams
Softened butter 100 grams
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Crushed walnuts 1cup
Butter for greasing the cake tin
Instructions
Preheat Oven at 180° C and grease a circular cake tin 8Ãâ8 inch with butter lined with parchment paper and keep aside.
In a mixing bowl beat softened butter and condensed milk till mixed well together.
Seive all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in the sweetened butter mixture.
Mix everything well using cut and fold method and make a smooth batter.
Add vanilla extract and chopped walnuts and mix it again. The batter should be smooth and flowing add milk if the batter is too thick.
Pour the batter in greased cake tin and tap to make an even layer from all sides.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 35 minutes. Keep an eye on the cake after 30 minutes.
Once done insert a toothpick to check the cake is nicely cooked or not. The cake is done if it comes out clean.
Take the cake out of the tin and place it on a wire rack to cool down completely.
Cut into slices and enjoy eggless walnut cake.
