rice flour

almond paste

milk
a pinch of saffron

cardamom crushed

oil for frying

desiccated coconut

Instructions
Mix all purpose flour, rice flour, badam paste and milk to a dough of thick consistency.
Keep it aside for ten minutes.
Make sugar syrup by adding one cup of water to it. Add strands of saffron and cardamom powder to it. It should be of one string consistency.
Take three lemon sized balls of the dough. Roll them into circle.
Apply ghee and dust a little flour to it. Keep them one over the other and roll.
Cut into small sections in it.
Take one section and roll it into a puri.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the puri. Let it be golden on both sides. Remove on a tissue paper.
Repeat for the rest of the balls
Put the fried puris in sugar syrup for five minutes. Remove and serve. Desiccated coconut may be added to it.
