This pizza is not exactly the conventional type of pizza. Potato Crust Pizza is very easy to prepare, no need for preparing the dough in advance and it’s also gluten-free. The Saag Paneer features paneer cheeses along with spinach. Flavorful and delicious combination.
Rinse, peel and cut the potatoes. Steam the potatoes until soft.
In a mixing bowl, add steamed potatoes, cheddar cheese, potato flour, ghee, salt and pepper. Mash and form a dough.
Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius.
Spread the potato mixture into the baking sheet and form into a 8 inch circle.
Bake the crust for 20 minutes, then pressed the crust down with a spatula. Then again baked it for 10 minutes more.
To prepare paneer saag. Heat ghee in a pan. Add onions, ginger, garlic and green chili. Cook till translucent.
Add chopped spinach, all spices and salt, cook for 4-5 minutes. Add cream and cook till all the liquid evaporates.
Spread about 1/3 cup of the saag on one of the pieces of potato crust, leaving about a ½Ã¢â¬Â border around the edges. Then top with crumbled paneer and sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pizza are golden-brown, nearly 8 to 10 minutes.
