It is a traditional recipe of Bengal. In early times people use to make this type of snacks to entertain their guests and to offer God. I learnt from my mother and she also learnt from her grand parents. That time they cut the coconut to give a shape like flat rice. But now people are very busy with variety of jobs. That's why I made in a simple process to just continue the tradition.
Peal off the coconut skin, then cut in small thin slices.
Now dry roast the coconut slices and keep aside.
Melt the jaggery until sticky then add the roasted coconut. Stir a few seconds then switch off the flame and add the white sesame seeds. After then it is ready to serve.
