basmati rice
washed and soaked for 15 minutes
1
beetroot finely chopped
1/4
cup
green peas
1
tsp
Ginger garlic paste

onion finely chopped
1
green chilli chopped
1/2
tsp
garam masala powder

pinch
Turmeric Powder

water

coriander leaves chopped
Salt

oil

ghee

cloves

cinamon stick

cardamoms

tsp
cumin seed
Instructions
in a pressure cooker heat oil and ghee
add cinamon, cloves, cardamoms and cumin seeds
let them splutter, then add ginger garlic paste, onion and green chilli
fry till raw smell goes
then add garam masala powder and turmeric powder and fry for a minute
add beetroot and peas and saute for 2 minutes
add salt and soaked rice, give a quick saute till the masalas are micely coated with the rice
add water and close the lid
pressure cook for 2 whistles
once pressure releases, open the lid and transfer the pulav to a serving bowl
garnish with coriander leaves and serve with raita
