Tamarind – A big lemon sizePrepare the juice and keep it aside
Sambhar powder – 4 tea spoons
Jagerry a small gooseberry size
For seasoning: Mustard seeds2 red chillies, Fenu greek 1 tea spoon & Thur Dal
Gingelly oil 3 tb spoons and Hing ½ tea spoon
Instructions
Heat the pan with the 3 tb spoons of gingelly oil. Add the things
given for seasoning.
When the fenugreek becomes brown add the pappad pieces. When
they get fried add the 4 tea spoons of sambhar powder to the oil
and fry well.
Then pour the tamrind juice into the pan. Add turmeric powder, salt
and hing. Add the jagerry piece now. Allow them to boil well till
becomes thick. Add curryleaves.
