Though this sounds to be a new recipe, it is actually an age old recipe done frequently by our Grandmas. One of the easy way to include vegetable and elevate protein content  in our diet. Try this crispy and crest adai and gain the benefits of the vegetable and lentils....
Parboiled rice 3 cupsThur dal 1 cup , Chana dal (Bengal Gram) 1/2 cup and Urad dal 2 tb spoons
Red chillies 6
Bottle gourd peeled and diced from around 1 k.g of bottle gourd or 2 bowls
Curry Leaves
Instructions
Wash and soak the rice and dals together for 3 hours.
Without adding water grind the bottle gourd pieces coarsely and keep aside or grate them in a vegetable scraper and keep aside.
Now drain the water from the soaked rice and dal and add the red chillies and grind to coarse batter with little water. _x000D_
Now add the grated bottle gourd to it and run the mixie for 10 seconds._x000D_
Transfer the batter to the vessel and add required salt, hing powder and curry leaves.
Heat the tawa and grease it with some oil. Spread a ladle full of batter like dosa and drizzle a tea spoon of oil in the centre and around it. Wait for few minutes.
Once it is cooked, turn to other side and cook till it becomes golden brown.
