Instructions
Wash moong dal and heat a pan. Add oil and fry dal with pinch of turmeric powder. After shallow fry dal will become light brown.
Bottle gourd cut into cubical pieces. Now take a pressure cooker add dal, bottle gourd, turmeric powder and salt.
Cook with 2 whistle. Now add 2 tsp oil add whole red chilli fry and keep aside.
Add bay leaves ginger paste, tomato paste, sliced green chilli. Stir fry add dal. Cook for a few minutes.
Take another small pan heat add ghee and cumin seeds. Pour into dal and cover the lid.
Now Sal is ready to serve
