Festival times are very hectic. One needs a few easy recipes for those guests that drop in unexpectedly. This is one such that is put together with the least of efforts
Whisk up all the ingredients, except the Eno salt. Adjust consistency like Idli batter. Let it stand for 10 minutes.Heat water in a steamer or a big pressure cooker
Place steel ring in the vessel. Grease a cake tin.In the batter, add the Eno salt and whisk very quickly. Bubbles will rise.
Pour the batter in the tin. Place it on the ring. Place a heavy lid and cook on slow flame for 15 -17 minutes. Remove from flame and let stand for 5 minutes before de moulding.
Prepare the tempering
Heat two tablespoons of oil. Add the mustard seeds, jeera and curry leaves. Let them splutter. Pour over the Dhokla pieces.
