Organic Jaggery - 1/2 cup or based on the sweetness of the fruit.
Water - 1/4 cup.
Instructions
Squash Preparation - Keep a shallow pan on stove. Add pieces of jaggery and pour water such that the pieces of jaggery get immersed in it.
Stir continuously with a ladle for 3 to 5 minutes until the jaggery syrup of string consistency is obtained.
Turn of the flame. Allow it to attain the room temperature. so keep aside.
In the meanwhile, , blend the mango slices into a smooth paste in a blender. Transfer this paste into the already prepared jaggery syrup. Mix it carefully so as to prevent lump formation.
Ensure that the jaggery syrup should not be hot.
Transfer it into dry jars. You can add preservatives if you want. If the preservatives are not added then the jar should be kept in the refrigerator.
Preparation of Mango Treat from Squash - Take a glass. Add 3 tablespoons of the prepared organic mango squash.
Pour water and stir it well. Serve cool :)
Notes
Ensure that the jaggery syrup is not hot when the mango paste is added to it . I used jaggery to make it healthy.
