Sabudana vadas are crisp vadas made from sago (taro root) and other ingredients . It is famous in Maharashtra .usually made while fasting .can be eaten as a snack too.
soak sago about 7 hours in equal amount of water.(overnight )
Mash boiled potato. Add soaked sago, peanut powder , sama flour, water chestnut flour, cumin seeds , red chilly powder , salt, sugar, green chilly and coriander leaves (chopped )
Bind all ingredients together. Take a small portion and make a ball. little flatten it to form vada / tikki shape. Deep fry in hot oil/ clarified butter till golden brown and crisp .serve hot with green coconut chutney .
