This is an Indian traditional recipe. It is a Maharashtrian recipe. They use jaggery. But in North India they celebrate Rakshabandhan or Janmashtami with this Anarsa along with many dishes. They use sugar to making this recipe. Here I also used sugar.
Soak the rice over night then drain out the water, then spread in a fine cloth and dry. Now grind the rice and sieve . Take 1 cup of rice flour mix with sugar powder and 2 tsp ghee. If needed you can add milk, make a soft and sweet dough.
Keep for twenty minutes then divide into equal portion
Coat with white sesame and deep fry.
First offer to God then serve.
Notes
For best and authentic result, rice should be soaked three days but every six hours water should be changed.
