Preheat oven @ 170 degrees. Grease and dust with flour a 7 x 11 inches rectangular pan.
Sieve dry ingredients other than sugar 4 to 5 times. In a mixing bowl beat sugar and curd. To this add oil butter vanilla and mix. Add dry ingredients in parts and mix.
Add the chopped walnuts and mix. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle walnuts on the top and bake it for 25 to 29 mins, check with a skewer by inserting it in the center, it should comes out clean.
