Oil- 5 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
Bengal gram - 3 tbsp
Black gram - 2 tbsp
Groundnut - 1.5 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 tbsp
Salt
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly
pieces - 1 tsp
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan . Add all the mentioned ingredients one after the other.
Once the seasoning turns golden in color, add the tamarind pulp,salt to it. Saute it until it thickens.
Instant Pulihora mix is ready. One tablespoon of this mix can be mixed to a cup of boiled rice.
It can be offered as Naivedhyam to the deity.
