Instructions
wash and soak foxtail millet for half an hour to one hour.
pressure cook the millets for 3 to 4 whistles. Or we can cook it separately in a thick bottomed pan.
add milk and jaggery to it. Mix it well and cook till the jaggery melts.
in another pan heat ghee and fry cashew nuts and raisins. keep them aside.
once the millets become soft and jaggery melts completely add grated fresh coconut. give a nice mix.
add fried cashew nuts and raisins and give a nice mix.
serve foxtail millet kheer hot or warm.
