Indian style cooked okra with lot of different spice powders. It is very easy and quick to make semi-dry kind of sabzi.
Spicy bharwa bhindi cooked in generous amount of oil enlightens taste buds in every bite.
Combine all the spices, besan, ginger, garlic, green chilly paste, 2 tbsp oil in a bowl and mix well.
Wash, wipe dry and trim both the ends of the bhindi. Slit each bhindi vertically without breaking or cutting into two halves.
Fill each bhindi with the besan mixture.
In a pan, put oil and grated onion. Saute it for 5 min. Add pinch of salt, stuffed bhindi and saute for 2-3 min. Now, cover with lid and cook on low heat till done.
Serve bharwan bhindi hot with chapaties.
Notes
You can prepare stuffing in advance and store it in airtight container in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
