Roasted Chana Dal

Ghee
Instructions
In a heating pan
roast
Rava (Semolina) for 4 to 5 min.
In a heating pan take 2 tsp of Desi Ghee and add Cumin seeds and Cashews.
Roast
until Cashew changes the colour.
Add Urad and Chana Dal and
roast
for 1 min.
Then add Green Chillies and few Curry leaves.
To this now add water and cover with lid and allow water to boil.
Once water comes to a boil add Salt and Roasted Rava and mix well.
If more water required add little by little only..
Grease the serving bowl with ghee and then add Upma to it and serve by garnishing fresh Coriander leaves.

Notes
While serving if Upma thicknes and dry out just add little hot water and microwave for min and mix well and serve hot.
