Dilpasand is coconut and dry fruits stuffed sweet bread. This is the most sought after school snack for generations. Generally it is baked using coconut, sugar and tutti frutti but I have slightly modified giving a healthy twist by baking using whole wheat flour.
Further sugar is reduced and the addition of natural sweetener, dates makes it healthier. The filling comprises of dates, almonds, fresh coconut and tutti frutti.
