We eat watermelon, after eating red fleshy portion we throw the watermelon rind. We never thought it can be eaten and there is also refreshing treat. The white part of watermelon is crunchy similar to cucumber. Watermelon rind contains plenty of water, chlorophyll for blood building and amino acid. It is more healthy compare to pink or redish part. Remove the bright greeny skin take the white portion and cook in any form. We can grate, we can grind or we can cut in cubicle form and use in dessert or any other recipe. I made some salty and spicy patties.
Watermelon rind contains 95 percent food value.
Lost recipe watermelon rind using more than 100 years ago. We should introduce this to our upcoming generation.
