Watermelon and mint granita

An easy to make, refreshing dessert which can be made with any fruit. A refreshing chilled drink made from watermelon and mint is perfect for summer and summer parties

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Watermelon, chopped – 2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 to 2 Tablespoons
  • Mint leaves – 4 to 5
  • Sugar/ honey – 1 to 2 Tablespoons
  • Black grapes crush – 2 to 3 Tablespoons
  • Mint spring – for garnishing

How to cook?
  1. Take mixi zar, blend watermelon, salt, sugar well. Strain it into a bowl. Add lemon juice, chopped mint leaves and mix well. Transfer into a shallow container, cover and freeze for 2 hours.
  2. Scrape out using a fork, again put container in freezer for 2 to 3 hours. Again Scrape out using a fork. Take serving glass, pour black grape crush, put scrapped watermelon, garnish with mint spring and serve immediately.
