  • 1 cup Vermicelli roasted
  • 3 tbsp Desi Ghee
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 8 Almonds crushed
  • 5 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1-2 strands Saffron or milk soaked in milk


  • Heat ghee in a saucepan and add the crushed almonds. After 1-2 minutes, add the vermicelli and fry till light brown.
  • Now add 1 cup milk and cook the vermicelli till it becomes soft.
  • Now add the second cup of milk and simmer on low flame for 10-15 minutes. It will become creamy.
  • Add the sugar, cardamom powder and saffron. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve chilled.
