  • Cut jackfruit and remove seeds. Boil and rinse jackfruit and shred the flower with help of the fork.
  • In a skillet, over medium heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add diced onion, cook for few mintues until translucent.
  • Add chopped garlic cook till it turns light brown. Do not burn the garlic pods.
  • Add jackfruit and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Sprinkle some water and cover the lid to cook for few seconds so that the sauce mixes well with jackfruit. As jackfruit is already boiled don't overcook.
  • Add paprika, salt and black pepper

  • Add left over barbecue sauce and stir. Stuff it in the bread and brush with peanut butter and grill both side.
