Recipe Notes

  1. The preparation time is exclusive of making almond milk. If you cannot make almond milk at home, this recipe can be made using store bought almond milk as well.
  2. Use sweet oranges like navel or valencia for this recipe.
  3. Do not use the pith of orange as it will give a bitter taste to the smoothie.
  4. Add orange only at the final stage to prevent the milk from curdling.
  5. It is suggested to drink this smoothie immediately after preparation in order to relish the freshness of the orange.
  6. Adjust sweetener according to your taste and the sweetness of the fruit.
